Free the Captives is excited to announce, HeArt for Freedom, a response by the fine arts community to the challenging reality of human trafficking in the Houston area. Free the Captives’ Art Show and Auction is a one-day event where art connoisseurs and socially-minded individuals can purchase world-class pieces and through their purchases, support Free the Captives. Join us on September 29 for our VIP pre-show and cocktails at 5pm and then at 6pmfor the art show and silent auction.
HeArt for Freedom will be hosted by the Church at 1548 Heights, in a historic 1920’s building with a lot of personality and heArt. The event will feature live music, performance painters, art, photography, artisan crafts, hors d’oeuvres and more. Get your tickets today!
Make a difference and buy our amazing teen trafficking survivors’ hand-poured soy candles! Our girls made these candles this summer, will package and ship them, and include a handwritten note for you.

Hiring a Graphics Designer
You are invited to apply for the position of graphics designer. We are looking for someone who is passionate about fighting human trafficking. Your work will consist of creating graphics for print material and social media. Photography and videography skills are a plus. This is a full time position in Houston, TX. You must also be willing to help with other Free the Captives’ events and programs including working with our teen trafficking survivors.

In-Depth Volunteer Training, Applications due July 24th!
You are invited to apply for Free the Captives’ in-depth volunteer training. This training is designed for people who want to learn more about human trafficking, work with Free the Captives’ trafficking victims, and become more involved in our programs and events.
Training Location: West Houston in the Energy Corridor near I-10
Dates: Mandatory Attendance of all 6 Sundays, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
