BIG NEWS: Online Candle Store Open!
One of the greatest needs of survivors of human trafficking is a job. Poverty is a huge reason of why teen victims are vulnerable to trafficking. Having an income allows our girls at Free the Captives to break the cycle of poverty and keep them from returning to a life of terror and abuse. Our job program of making candles not only provides them with a salary, but with the necessary job skills needed to successfully get and keep a job.
Our online store is now open! You can make a difference in the lives of teenage trafficking victims by simply clicking here and buying an amazing, hand poured candle made by one of our girls.
Each candle purchased is a new life for a teenage trafficking survivor.
Connect Us
In order to sell ALL 4,000 candles and continue to provide jobs for teenage trafficking survivors, we need YOUR help.
Reach out to your network of friends, family, and coworkers. Do you have connections to an individual, a business/retail store, or a market/festival that would be interested in selling our candles? Email us at info@freethecaptiveshouston.
Shop for a Purpose
Shopping CAN make a difference. Purchase a candle online, support businesses and festivals that sell our candles, and help spread the word!
